We all know that ESCalation is a novice when it comes down to cut Counter-Strike content, and he has made a few recreations of the unreleased Gearbox Software Condition Zero maps, and at least one unreleased Global Offensive map, that of course is de_balkan (a remake of the Condition Zero map de_vostok).Īlso, I've archived a large set of cut, beta, & "early version" maps for Counter-Strike 1.6 & my own archive consisting of cut Condition Zero and maps from the mostly abandoned Counter-Strike Xbox mod. Regarding Global Offensive, there's a few maps that were removed from the game during the later updates & operations, as these maps were less played by CS:GO players.
We all know that Condition Zero shifted to different developers at least four times (Rogue Entertainment, Gearbox Software, Ritual Entertainment, & Turtle Rock Studios), and every time development changes, content gets cut out. I also think alot of the unreleased Counter-Strike maps (namely those that were cut from Condition Zero & Global Offensive) are also noteworthy to be mentioned here.
